Disney World (Rivers of Light)

“Magic is all around, you just have to believe.”

My three year old daughter and I sat in awe, as we watched the Rivers of Light Show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This was our vantage point.

And as we sat on the bench, surrounded by darkness. With music vibrating through the air. And the lights and fire emanating from the lake below us… It occurred to me.

This is why we take trips. So she will grow up believing that the world is a magical, wondrous place. So she will learn that there is beauty all around. So she believes that she can create whatever life she desires.

These are my gifts to her.
