Finger Painting
My daughter is the next Picasso. Ok, totally kidding. But this was a really fun activity. Watching her dip her little chubby fingers in the Finger Paints and mix the vivid oranges and blues and reds all around was such a sensory experience. I almost had more fun than she did.
It was, however, first thing in the morning. As in she woke up and placed the paints in front of me. I hadn’t even had a sip of my venti iced coffee with extra almond milk from Starbucks (which we know gives me life).
Then, when it was time for her to eat her breakfast (after the finger painting had reached its completion) she announced that she didn’t want to sit next to me because she didn’t like me. Yesterday she peed on me so I guess we’re making progress.
Below is a highlight reel of her dipping her hand in the Paints and mixing them all around... I’m mesmerized by the colors. I love being immersed in pools of deep cobalt and juicy tangerine. Be sure to turn on the sound to hear her shriek with glee.
