Downtown Westport (Saugatuck River)

Westport has a vibrant Downtown area with beautiful views of the Saugatuck River. I should know, because I live here.

I woke up extra early Monday morning and walked along the wooden bridges that criss cross over the water and tall grasses. The fall leaves were vibrant shades of deep Bordeaux and creamy caramel. The air was crisp. I could almost hear the wind whisper my name as I hugged my sweater closer around my chest. It was a beautiful, majestic, quintessential New England Experience.

If you’re traveling with your hubby or kiddos, this is a really great place to photograph them. But first, be sure to grab a pumpkin spice latte (or whatever your drink of choice is) at the Starbucks across the parking lot.
